As part of the agenda of promoting talented students, HackIDC offers a pre-Hackathon training program. The program is intended to guide young programmers, who wish to turn their basic coding skills into real experience, through their first Hackathon.
What does the program include?
The program's goal is to provide the participants with the tools necessary to build a prototype in a short time frame.
To achieve that, we will host several hands-on workshops with some of the top developers in the tech industry. We will focus on prototype development, with an emphasis on eye level practice sessions.
During the Hackathon itself, onsite designated mentors will provide close assistance and guidance.
We have created a program that will give you some basic and fundamental tools that will allow you to develop your ideas during the hackathon.
The program is aimed at students that have some basic coding knowledge but do not have any practical experience.
When and Where?
All the sessions will take part in IDC Herzliya Campus, during the weeks before the hackathon (March - April).
Who can and should register?
This program is exclusive for students who want to further develop their developing skills. Participants are required to be computer science students and have done at least one programming course within their studies.
More details coming soon...
Who should apply?
If you wish to participate in HackIDC and have a technical background but little to no experience, this program is for you.
Just check the “I want to be part of the mentorship program” box when submitting the registration form. We will contact you once the application results are announced.
Be advised that you will be required to attend 3 to 4 weekly sessions in the weeks preceding the Hackathon. We expect you to meet this requirement so we can advance your skills to a Hackathon Hacker level.
